There are 36 French phonemes presented in the resources (PLEASE NOTE: Only MAIN French phonemes are introduced as the intended audience is Kindergarten and Grade 1 & 2 in Canada and Foundation to Year 2 in Australia).
The learning resources are differentiated for different year levels: complex jingles are offered (more vocabulary words) and increasingly more complex words are provided in the word lists (various digraphs and phonemes blended together).
These phonemes are organized into 6 different groupings. The order in which the phonemes are taught is to facilitate learning. For example, the first grouping of phonemes (s, a, c/k, l, t, b, i, m, n, r, p) enables simple words to be created, such as ma, la, il. These are easy words for emergent readers as they learn how to read. That being said, the scope and sequence provided is a suggestion only; the phoneme flashcards can be used with any scope and sequence you wish to use.

Flashcards, jingles and gestures
Show a phoneme flashcard and introduce the jingle and corresponding gestures. An audio recording of each jingle is provided in the bundle. You may need to create gestures to go along with some of the jingles - many flashcards already illustrate gestures to be used (see example provided for the G phoneme flashcard)
